Molly & Alex
A wedding website — and a little blog about building a life far from home
Marina Bay · late 2024 · two carry-ons and a ridiculous amount of optimism
Welcome to our little corner of the internet — part wedding site, part diary of learning to live in Singapore after Alex's consulting move pulled us across the world.
We're Molly and Alex. We got engaged on a sticky evening overlooking the bay, and we're getting married in 2026 with one foot in the city that remade us and one foot still pointing home.
Twelve hours and a world away from the people who raised us. Some weeks Singapore feels like home. Some weeks the distance sits heavier.
Humidity is a character in this story. Still, the park connectors and waterfront paths have become our favorite way to learn the city.
From Singapore we hopped north for family history, street food, and a crash course in high-speed rail etiquette.
Two weeks of hosting, hawker diplomacy, and watching our parents fall for the same skyline we did.
