Our story
We met in a city that already felt too small for our calendars, fell in love over shared takeout and worse karaoke, and then — almost overnight — followed a job offer to Singapore.
Alex had been circling a consulting role for months. When the Singapore posting became real, we did what practical romantics do: made a spreadsheet, cried once, and said yes.
The first months were logistics and jet lag. The next ones were hawker centers, weekend runs, and the slow realization that "temporary" had quietly become "home for now" — maybe longer.
We got engaged in late 2024 with the skyline doing its ridiculous glowing thing behind us. This site is our way of inviting you into that chapter: the wedding plans, the blog posts, the whole messy joy of building a life far from where we started.
